We save all of our stray buttons (in a plastic baking cup container, of course) for use in sprucing up our thrift store finds.Our "Cheap Trick #1" is a way to brighten up any cardigan. Replace the original buttons with assorted similar-sized buttons in a variety of colors. (Be sure to save the discarded buttons for a different project.) We'll showcase our favorite upcycled sweater shortly.
